The booking process

We’re super excited to get to work with you, this page contains some information on what happens next.

Our booking process is as follows:

  • Scheduling a pre-wedding consultation, either via audio/video call or face-to-face if possible.

  • Take a look at some of our full wedding galleries;

  • A booking fee (‘deposit’) is required to secure the date (see ‘booking fee’ section below).

  • The contract/terms and conditions to be signed and submitted (see ‘contract’ section.)

  • The booking form to be submitted (see ‘booking form’ section below.)

  • Arranging a pre-wedding/engagement photoshoot if chosen (for photography or combined bookings only.)

  • Remaining payment is due a month prior to the wedding, unless flexible payment methods have been arranged.

  • A final catch up call closer to the wedding to confirm final details, such as order of the day, group shot list if applicable, etc.

If you have questions about anything on this page at any point, please feel free to get in touch via our social media DM’s, email us at info@creativedepictionstudio.co.uk or call us on 07740071455.

The booking fee

We advise reading through the contract first and ensuring all terms are satisfactory prior to making the payment for the booking fee.

When booking our individual photography OR videography package, the booking fee is £300. For the combined photography and videography package the booking fee is £500.

Once happy to proceed with the booking, please notify us via your preferred method of communication and we will email over the invoice for the booking fee via Zipbooks, unless we’ve already done so, in which case you can proceed to the contract.

The booking fee serves as the deposit, and is a downpayment to lock in the date. The amount paid will be deducted from the total balance. (eg. with a total balance of £2875, after a booking fee of £500 has been paid, it will leave £2375 outstanding). This outstanding balance is due a month prior to the event latest, but can also be paid off earlier or in split payments/instalments. Please get in contact with us to arrange this.

Once we receive the payment, we will also start off with the admin, planning and preparation that we carry out for each booking. As stated in the contract, please note that a ‘cooling-off period’ of 14 days is in place from the time the contract is submitted or booking fee is paid, whichever comes first. This means that if you change your mind within the 14 day period, the booking can be reversed without reason and any monies paid will be refunded. Once the cooling off period has ended, our refund policy is in effect as stated in the contract below.

The contract

The contract contains important information on things like cancellations, sickness, copyright and much more that’s worth knowing. If preferred, we can run through this together in a quick phone call.

By paying the booking fee (deposit), and/or signing and submitting the contract, the Client agrees with the terms and conditions stated in the contract.

The booking form

The booking form is a great way for us to keep all the important details of your booking in one place, just so we can refer back to it without having to dig through lots of emails!

In the form you can submit some essential information that is useful for us, such as your contact details, timings, addresses, order of the day etc.

If your wedding is still some time away, or if you’re not too sure about specific things yet, then please skip over those sections and we can revisit this at a later stage.
